People keep saying listen to their ideas or things they have to offer. We would if they expressed them. Serious times need serious people with concrete plans. Not foolishness.

This isn’t the end. New Jersey is about to experience a new day. This race was run by working class people.

Everyday people are getting on board with the idea that a fairer, more equitable New Jersey is possible and it’s what we deserve.

I want to thank everyone who’s worked on my campaign. Every organization that has endorsed this campaign. My wife. My kids. And most importantly you. With you, a better New Jersey will be reimagined.

With a crowded field of candidates that are focused mostly on being anti-Trump, I wanted to talk to Ras Baraka about his progressive politics and how he thinks Democrats should be winning back voters they lost in 2024.

Baraka spoke to me about why he thinks Democrats in power say progressives can’t win elections. He also spoke about the approach the party needs to take to earn the trust of voters, policies Democrats should focus on and the responsibility of the press in this era of American politics.

Platitudes did not create Newark’s progress. Action did. The collective brainpower of our people delivered these results. Let them underestimate us. This is how we win! Vote , tomorrow - June 10th.
