This journey taught me that progress isn’t about rushing the process. It’s about showing up, staying consistent, and building habits that fit real life.
Small daily choices create big long-term changes. Keep it simple, stay patient, and trust what you’re building.
A simple, effective full body session you can do while spending time with your mini 🫶
Warm up:
Body squats – 12 x 3 sets
Body lunges – 12 x 3 sets per leg
Main workout:
Weighted squats – 12 x 3–4 sets
Lateral lunge + row – 10 x 3–4 sets
Dumbbell overhead march – 15 x 3–4 sets
Dumbbell chest press – 12 x 3–4 sets
Burpees – 15 x 3–4 sets
Move with your little one, stay active, and make fitness part of your everyday routine ✨
I tried to make it look easy, buuuut this challenge is awful… so I accepted it anyway. 🫠😂
Training for HYROX changed the way I see fitness.
It’s not just about looking fit, it’s about building resilience, discipline, confidence, and learning how to keep going when things get hard.
This journey reminded me that growth doesn’t come from staying comfortable. It comes from showing up consistently, even on the days you don’t feel your best.

When you focus on mostly whole foods, you don’t have to cut out the foods you enjoy. There’s still room for your favorites too, it’s about balance, not restriction. Not every day will be perfect, sometimes you lose track, and that’s okay. Just keep going. ✨
They’ve done study after study on this and the conclusion stays the same: You cannot target fat loss in one specific area of the body.
Ab workouts strengthen your core, improve stability, and build muscle… but they don’t directly melt belly fat.
Fat loss happens through overall energy balance, consistent training, nutrition, recovery, sleep, and time.
