This is a great read for those who wonder why hiring a personal chef is not the same as going to eat in a restaurant. While I try to keep my rates comparable to restaurants with a similar food culture, the food cost is a major factor in why the final price is higher. Ordering from caterer could save you a bit more since they are buying in bulk, for more than your event so it’s not a special recipe, and since the food is prepared in a commercial kitchen. When you hire a personal chef, there is quite a bit more to it than that. From personalized recipes to the freshest bites. Personal Plates Is More Than Catering, It’s An Experience!

Little did I know who I’d be working for….then again, I never do 😅. thankful and great full for the start of a new foodie relationship.

Soft shell crab bao buns w/ garlic cilantro aioli, pickled cucumber, fresh herbs and Fresno pepper

Prawns! Simple recipe with minimal work!

Heat the oven using the broiler!

Grab a bowl and toss the ingredients together and add to the cast iron skillet!

10 colossal shrimp (head on preferred!)
Handful or cherry tomatoes halved
4 garlic gloves, sliced thinly
A few sprigs of thyme
1/2 tsp of kosher salt
1 tsp old bay
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3 tbsp olive oil

Place in the broiler for 6 minutes, let it cool slightly before eating.
