What can safe water change?
For Manga, a mother of four in Zambia, it meant finally being able to grow fresh food for her children, and for other families in her community.
Thanks to a new CMMB-supported borehole, what once felt impossible is now growing every day.
“This garden is not only for me. It is feeding many families around here,” she said.

This Father’s Day, we celebrate fathers like Stallon.
As the primary caregiver for his son Evans, who lives with a severe disability, Stallon balances caregiving and other work to support his family. Through CMMB’s Sustainable Livelihoods Program, he has grown a small business closer to home, allowing him to earn an income while continuing to care for the people who depend on him.
His story is a reminder that when fathers are equipped with tools and opportunities to succeed, families can thrive.
Today, we honor the strength, sacrifice, and love of fathers and father figures everywhere.

Jesus reminds us in today’s Gospel: “Do not be afraid.” We are known and valued by God.
This Father’s Day, we celebrate the fathers and father figures whose love reflects that same care. At CMMB, we witness their devotion every day as they support their families through challenges and change.
Happy Father’s Day to all who help their children feel seen and supported.

Especially on World Refugee Day we stand in solidarity with those around the world whose lives have been disrupted; they flee violence, persecution, or natural disasters. At a time when so much humanitarian aid is disappearing, CMMB offers hope and healing to families in crisis. In South Sudan, that means providing care and support to 89 women and children who fled violence and are now rebuilding their lives.

A single blood donation can save multiple lives.
On World Blood Donor Day, we celebrate the selfless donors whose generosity brings hope, healing, and a second chance to people in need every day.
Thank you for giving the gift of life.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus looks upon the crowds with compassion, seeing they are “troubled and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd.” He sends His disciples to accompany those in need, bringing healing and hope.
That call continues today. At CMMB, accompaniment is at the heart of our work. In Peru, community health workers walk alongside pregnant women and new mothers, supporting both their physical and emotional well being. Maternal mental health can be a silent struggle, which is why we train health workers to recognize signs, encourage conversation, and connect women with CMMB psychologists.
Like the disciples, we are called to accompany those whose burdens may go unseen. Our hope is that every mother knows she is seen, valued, and never alone.
