In January 2022, the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce issued a resource guide that compiled information about grants available for small businesses. This FREE resource guide is now updated quarterly. This month, 80 small businesses in communities from across the boroughs wrapped up the Verizon Digital Inclusion Workshop Series, thanks to a partnership between Verizon and the Five Borough Chamber Alliance. Twenty workshops took place (four in each borough) as part of the Verizon Digital Inclusion Program, which aims to bridge the digital divide for small businesses, and includes seminars on topics from social media to AI to digital marketing.
The Digital Inclusion Program builds on the work the Chambers have done via the Small Business Resource Network, a comprehensive approach to small business resiliency that offers free, personalized guidance and support to help businesses grow and thrive.
Congrats to all the participants, many thanks to all the subject matter experts that shared their knowledge and expertise, and much gratitude to Verizon for supporting digital literacy for small business owners here in NYC.
