Goetz Platzer partners Gerard Strain and Donald J. Carbone recently obtained a multi-million-dollar settlement for one of the Goetz Platzer’s general contractor clients in a case against the New York State University Construction Fund (SUCF) which concerned a large-scale project at a SUNY Campus.

The case involved complex matters of design defects, legal exceptions to the no damage for delay clause, alleged construction defects, and other matters which our team at Goetz Platzer were able to successfully navigate such that the SUCF agreed to pay our client millions of dollars on the eve of trial after a hard fought litigation before the Commercial Division in Albany County, Supreme Court.
