There’s nothing quite like the energy of Nashville and Vegas coming together to celebrate country music during ACM Awards week!

We stopped by Sunrise Hospital with Walker Montgomery to deliver the healing power of music to caregivers to celebrate American Hospital Association National Hospital Week... and our friends at ACM - Academy of Country Music Lifting Lives made the day legendary with a surprise $20,000 gift!

Watch the full video to see a special moment between Maggie Rose and a VA caregiver! ❤️

Music has the power to connect us all, and that connection was felt in every corner of the Nashville VA. During this special program, music became a bridge to human connection, healing, and hope for patients and caregivers alike. Thank you, Maggie Rose, for sharing your music and your heart with those who have given so much.

As we close out National Hospital Week with the American Hospital Association, we want to give one final thank you to all of the caregivers out there. We are so grateful for everything you do, this week and all year long.

When volunteers like Old Dominion bring music into the hospitals, they aren’t just playing for patients–they’re also delivering the healing power of music to hospital staff and caregivers. This National Hospital Week, we’re thrilled to team up with the American Hospital Association to honor our nation’s caregivers.

It’s officially National Hospital Week! We’re teaming up with the American Hospital Association to celebrate the incredible people who keep our hospitals running every single day.

To kick things off, we have a special message from Charles Esten honoring the dedication and heart of our caregivers ❤️

What keeps us going? It’s moments just like this. ❤️
Every time we walk into a hospital or healthcare facility, we’re reminded that music isn’t just sound; it’s connection, comfort, and sometimes even joy in the middle of a difficult day.

We see patients’ faces soften, volunteers light up, and for a few minutes, everyone in the room shares the same moment of peace. Those smiles, those small sparks of relief and happiness - that’s what fuels us.

To our incredible volunteers, thank you for sharing your gifts so generously. And to our partners, thank you for opening your doors and helping us bring music to the people who need it most. 🎶✨

Last week, we celebrated our first program at UCSF Health Parnassus Hospital! There were many smiles and bedside sing-alongs. One standout moment: the musician played “Take Me Home, Country Roads” for a patient—only to learn they were from the Blue Ridge Mountains. “That taste of home really filled my cup. Thank you.”

Thank you to Jenica of UCSF Parnassus, our long-time volunteer Travis Atz, and the UCSF team for helping us launch this new partnership and make moments like this possible. We can’t wait to continue delivering the healing power of music across the Bay Area. 🎶
