Infrastructure is a priority for New York State and the federal government. Proposed federal policies will emphasize shovel-ready projects. Parks are increasingly recognized as #criticalinfrastructure for public health, resilience, and community revitalization. Investment in park infrastructure generates jobs as well as environmental benefits.

Our first panel will identify public policies that foster economic development. The second panel will focus on large-scale capital projects that emphasize parks and open space.

Our Executive Director Adam Ganser will be one of the distinguished panelists. Don't miss this exciting discussion!
Check out what RPA and our friends are saying about transforming transportation in the wake of COVID-19. “A small reduction at a given time can actually lead to a very large improvement in how the system works,” says our President Tom Wright, noting how increased telecommuting can reduce congestion. Read the great takes from the Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management at NYU Wagner Transportation Alternatives, Sam Schwartz, and NRDC, too!
In 2021, New York is expected to be the first city in the United States to implement a congestion pricing road-tolling program. Associate Director of Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management at NYU Wagner Sarah Kaufman explains why officials in charge are in no rush.
Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management at NYU Wagner's Sarah Kaufman weighs in on Governor Cuomo's proposal for a three year ban on anyone who is caught sexually harassing or assaulting someone on the city’s buses and subways.
Rather than address the underlying transit issues, MTA's expensive campaign to track down people who jump subway turnstiles will primarily harm poor New Yorkers of color. A 2014 study from Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management at NYU Wagner is mentioned. | Teen Vogue
"There is a real cost to shipping," said Sarah Kaufman, #NYUWagner professor and associate director of the Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management at NYU Wagner, on big delivery companies and their effect on the city's economic productivity, air quality, and laborers.

Opinion | Bill de Blasio Is Forcing Me to Choose Between My Family and My Career

"The mandate to return is forcing me to make what feels like an unnecessary choice between my career and my family, between my health and my duty to my colleagues and the city. It doesn’t have to be this way." - NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service alumna Jennifer Gravel in today's The New York Times:

Please, please, please vote: Why this NYC mayoral race matters

"In 2013, the last open election for mayor, only 20% of Democrats voted in the primary. This year, it would be a travesty if 80% of Democrats again handed off the city’s future to others. There is too much at stake to sit on the sidelines." - from "Please, please, please vote: Why this NYC mayoral race matters" - new opinion piece by Mitchell L. Moss, NYU Rudin Center Director, in today's New York Daily News

Please, please, please vote: Why this NYC mayoral race matters New Yorkers care about their mayor, more than about their governor and their U.S. senators. They want a chief executive who will get things done by using the vast powers of the mayoralty. Electing mayors on the basis of good intentions does not work.
