I've been in touch with a friend of mine who is a female pianist / singer and plays left hand bass. She's done may weddings and private parties with me. She also uses tracks as many performers do these days. We have many drummers we can use as well, to have a nice sounding ensemble. Let me know if anyone needs a duo or trio. THE KNICKERBOCKER CLUB on Fifth Avenue & 62nd Street is one of the most exclusive and prestigious "gentleman's clubs" in New York, and I don't mean the kind with pole dancers! LOL Founded in 1871, it moved to it's current location in 1915. Beautiful location for the reception I photographed the other night.

I always tell clients I've worked in virtually every type of venue under lighting conditions ranging from sunlight filled to dungeon like, and it's true. This birthday party (for a very young crowd as you can see :) took place at a club/music venue called The Bowery Electric. I'm not sure which was more challenging- the packed crowd or the lack of light. It wasn't easy, but my client was thrilled with the pictures. Gotta make it work!
