Strawberry Chocolate Mousse β€οΈπ
Recipe
Syrup for Soaking Biscuits:
β’Strawberries 150 grams
β’ Sugar 10 grams
Place all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a
boil, and set aside.
Chocolate Mousse:
β’Milk 130 grams
β’ Egg yolks 2
β’ Black chocolate 160 grams
β’ Cold full-fat cream 250 grams
In a saucepan, mix the egg yolks with the milk, transfer to low heat, and cook until the custard can coat the back of a spoon. Pour over the black chocolate and mix well. Whip the cold cream and gently fold it into the chocolate mixture.
Assembly:
Pour the mousse over the cake and refrigerate for at least one night.
Soft, caramelized layers + creamy filling = pure heaven π€€ Perfect with chai or coffee!
π Ingredients:
β’ 6 eggs
β’ 1.5 cups sugar
β’ 3 tbsp honey π―
β’ 1 tsp baking soda
β’ 100g butter (room temp)
β’ 1 tsp vinegar
β’ 4.5 cups flour
β’ 1 cup crushed walnuts (optional)
π©βπ³ Instructions:
1. Whisk eggs + sugar until pale & fluffy.
2. Heat honey + baking soda on low flame until it turns deep caramel color.
3. Add butter (make sure it's NOT cold). Mix well.
4. Combine vinegar + baking soda β add into egg mixture.
5. Slowly pour in honey mixture while stirring.
6. Add flour + walnuts β form soft dough.
7. Divide into 8β10 portions. Roll thin layers.
8. Bake at 180Β°C until golden.
9. Layer with cream (whipped cream/sour cream frosting works best).
10. Chill for a few hours β slice & enjoy!
