In October of 2017, our friend Bliss was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer with 5 tumors on her breast and 2 on her liver. At only 37 years of age, Mayo Clinic in Rochester gave Bliss only a 10% survival beyond 5 years. Bliss and her husband Josh have two young children, Ella and Lincoln, ages 5 and 3. A few people have mentioned they miss reading my articles/essays 🥰 (aww shucks) so I thought I would share a recent one here. Medium is where I write on a regular basis now so you can follow me there if you are interested in my continued perusals on life and my reflections on my current graduate studies.

Hey everyone. You probably know today is Bliss's birthday. And on this day, I wanted to let everyone know about this really amazing project that Bliss's friends and family at the Wellness Collective are putting together. If you knew Bliss, you know how much her family at the Wellness Collective here in New Ulm meant to her. Well, now her name and spirit live on in children's book the proceeds of which will go to benefit those in need of their own healing. Bliss believed in the power of healing through personal touch and this project will help touch numerous others throughout the years.
