PAX families are forever families! In Indiana, PAX students Bento from Brazil (L) and Milan from Germany (R) were joined by alum Felipe from Ecuador, visiting after completing his freshman year of college, as they prepared for prom. We love a reunion!

We're saying goodbye to another great group of students today. This bunch, who spent their exchange year in Indiana, gathered at the home of Dan, their coordinator, for a special farewell evening with host families and friends.
The festivities featured a speech from the mayor, memory videos for the students, and Oscar-style PAXY awards. What a great send-off!

PAX students have a great time participating in extracurricular activities, especially high school sports! Many try a new sport for the first time and enjoy the experience of being on a team at their host high schools. Fakhri from Azerbaijan played on the volleyball team in Indiana and celebrated the end of the season with his host parents.

A favorite end-of-year tradition is the Senior Sunset. Fatimah from India called her Iowa evening a bittersweet symphony as she celebrated a year of new friends as she prepares to return home.
She'll carry this golden hour memory with her for a lifetime!

As we know, there are many "firsts" during every exchange year. For Omar from Egypt, that included his first time on a roller coaster! Along with his coordinator, Brianne (who is also a host mom), and fellow PAXers Hussin from Malaysia, Lena from Poland, and Yu Wei from Malaysia, he visited Cedar Point in Ohio and rode every coaster he was able. A new joy unlocked!
