Mint Mobile customers appear to be affected by T-Mobile breach (Mint uses the T-Mobile network), customers reported their numbers were stolen (ported) by criminals. Call Mint Mobile customer support for help protecting your number, at 213-372-7777.

Happy Password Day! Yes, there actually is a National Password Day. The best thing you can do for your passwords today is install a password manager (if you're not already using one). It will make it easier to use a different, long password for every site - and quicker and easier to log in. (More on how to go further to protect your most important accounts next week!)

Neiman Marcus reports breach affecting 4.6 million customer credit cards and passwords! Notify your credit card company, and change your password at Neiman Marcus and for any other account where you use the same password.

If you haven't updated your iPhone or other Apple devices recently, do so now! Major vulnerability can be exploited by hackers to take over your phone.
Apple says its security flaw was fixed. Cyber analysts warn zero-click threats will persist. Researchers said an Israeli spyware company used what is known as a "zero-click exploit" to access the phone of an unnamed Saudi activist.
