My dining room 💜 For now 😄 the table, chairs and small dresser available to purchase. I seem to be more productive using my DR as a paint and stage space vs the garage 🤔. Table & dresser refinished using RetiqueIt in Barnwood kit French Oak finish & Behr Palais White. I kept seeing how flippers are moving away from the boutique-y paints & chalk for mainstream brands so I tried it. Nope, sticking to what I 💜… All-In-One & chalk … finish is buttery smooth, sandability is fantastic, rock solid finish for longevity and coverage is unbelievable.

Sweet lil vintage dresser finally got a makeover 🥰 Not the original direction I was going for but we improvise 😊 Painted in Behr Palais White and top refinished in . Not perfect but another oldie saved for the next generation to 💜

Yikes it’s been some time, happy to get these nightstands refinished recently! Painted in Heirloom Traditions AIO Saltwater color, the palest minty green shade, perfect for a coastal bedroom look.

This beauty sold today to seriously the nicest couple ever! Sometimes I don't know what's more fun, the actual process of recreating furniture into something pretty, or meeting people so happy to find a treasure they've been looking for. So now I've got an empty room to play in again, can't wait to get started!

I'm so happy for the lady who was being gifted this hutch as a Christmas present 💜 Hopefully she will love it as much as I loved bringing it back to life 🤗🎨

Edited: thanks all! Had to get this done before holiday company is here 🤗 For those asking how I did the brick...I used the IOD brick roller and joint compound method. It was not as easy as the video made it look 🤣 lots of mistakes but i wasn't trying to make it perfect. There's much easier ways to do faux brick wall. I wanted more of rustic stone/brick look & feel. I used the mop head & chip brush ... first I brushed Truffle over entire mop head then randomly added Stonehenge, Weathered Wood, Antique Brown and white by dabbing it on mop. Stamped it on each brick face, did a bunch of stamps then misted that wall area and went over with roller. When that was done, i used a damp rag to clean out grout lines (messy stamper). Then I kept layering colors/misting/rolling till I got look I wanted. When all done, I went over everything with Antique White gel swirled on with brush then buffed out with rag. Finally, for more definition, I went back over again with Truffle on mop to randomly stamp over just brick edges. Whew.

I got lots of great ideas for the glass cabinets - thank you all so much! Last step is getting new sink & stove installed, repaint hood in Truffle or Iron Gate & new wall color... not sure what color but anything but gray 😂. That will be a winter project.

Faux brick backsplash...went about creating it differently as I wanted a very rustic finish...not sure I achieved what was in my head but so far happy with it. Used a mix of Weathered Wood, Vintage Brown gel, Antique White gel Stonhenge and Truffle. Cabinets were done in Cashmere some time ago...if I could have a do-over, I'd have kept the original light oak and just gel stained to a darker wood tone. White is hard to keep up with 😂 I'm stuck with the counters till I can either replace or have them professionally epoxied (painted in faux soapstone awhile ago but did not like painted counters & they didn't hold up well so stripped back to original). Suggestions on what to do with back wall of upper cabinets? That wood color does not match now. Do I paint white or do an accent color??

If there was a contest for the most ugly bathroom, I'm pretty sure I'd grab that hands down! Check out the before pics 🤮🤪🤦‍♀️ Finally can say my bathroom is almost done! Like...90% there! Painted vanity 🎨 in Heirloom Traditions All In One Polo color. Love ❤ it and how well it matches the blue tile now! So glad I didn't tear that tile all out. Next up redo blue tile border (hint hint Ray A Tartell) & do something with shower/tub-not sure yet.
