The Zoo is now closed for hibernation until 2026. We had an amazing weekend cooking for and hosting our friends at the Grimes County Go Texan Cookoff in Navasota. A little bit of 🥶 cold mixed with some rain 🌧️ and a few dust clouds☁️ in between is what makes for perfect cookoff weather.

The cookoff is open to the public. There will be a $10.00 Go Texan gate fee starting about 3:00pm. The ZOO will be open to the public but wristbands will be required to eat and drink from the bar.
