Reflect on the past, embrace joy, and give back for a positive transition into 2024! 🌟 What are your plans for welcoming the new year with positivity?

Estate Plans contain many different types of documents. It can be extremely overwhelming to know what it is that you need and why. At minimum, all estate plans should contain the following 4 documents:

1️⃣ A Last Will and Testament identifies who receives your assets when you pass away and who is in charge of managing those assets. It is also the document where you name a guardian for your minor children.

2️⃣ A Durable Power of Attorney appoints someone to financial decisions on your behalf in the case you are not able to make them yourself.

3️⃣ A Health Care Proxy appoints someone to make medical decisions for you in the event you are not able to make them yourself.

4️⃣ A Living Will provides guidance to your Health Care Proxy on your end of life care.

PARENTS! Did you know today, MAR10, is Mario Day! Who knew that video game characters had national holidays! But it is rather fitting that a legend like Super Mario has a day just for him! Personally, he's my favorite video game character. 💁🏻‍♀️

International Women's Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women around the 🌎

In honor of today, I want to acknowledge and celebrate one of my idols, the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg ⚖️

Like many others who admire her, I affectionally call the late Justice the “Notorious RBG” because she truly was notroious in her career and work, fighting tirelessly to protect marginalized minorities, including females, in our country.
