When they’re not flying, they’re prepping for the day they can. Regular maintenance on their aircraft is crucial.
“Maintenance for what we do out here is absolutely critical for everything we do. If our maintenance program isn’t where it needs to be, then we can’t fly and we can’t accomplish our mission,” said Chief Warrant Officer 2 David Tyo, a 153D and Line Pilot in Command for Alpha Co., 6th Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade.
Everything aviation does is in support of the ground force commander’s mission, extending reach and lethality.

Fun fact I started in the Indiana National Guard. After OSUT I decided I wanted to live this lifestyle so I walked into the Army recruiter office and have never regretted switching. Anyone in the National Guard and would like to go full time give me a call do the real thing.

I’ve been slacking on my posts but I managed to make it to an enlistment today. This young man enlisted into the Army Reserves he is a freshman at Indiana State University. I know I’ve been slacking just got back from a great 2 week course called Master Resilience Training. The Army spent $17000 for me attend setting my future up for success when I retire at the age of 37. Back to my post would you stay here to get paid $4000 over the course of 10 weeks, shoot guns, meet new people from all over the country, repel from a tower, throw grenades, and what about receiving that $20000-$40000 bonus after you complete training too?Receive a great career that translates to the civilian sector and make your self even more marketable with the free college degree the Army will pay for.
