NOW HIRING - ELECTRICIAN HELPERS
We are seeking electrician helpers to work full time in the Nashville area. This position is responsible for performing electrical duties in commercial and residential settings with oversight and guidance from experienced journeymen.
Technical Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain general upkeep of job sites, tool and equipment maintenance, inventory management, and general labor.
• Assist Journeymen and Field Service Technicians with the installations and repairs of electrical systems and components.
• Perform trenching and excavating as needed.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as required
Applicants must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Pre-employment background checks and drug testing are required.
Applicants are required to provide their own tools for day-to-day use.

Meet TJ!
TJ is one of our newest additions to the Harr Electric team! With over 40 years of electrical experience, he comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
For TJ, the most rewarding part of doing electrical work is making customers happy and seeing "lightbulb moments" occur for the apprentices he trains.
When TJ is not doing electrical work, he enjoys being outdoors, boating, and hunting.

This position is responsible for performing electrical duties in commercial and residential settings with minimal supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the direct supervision and training of apprentices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in application of electrical theory.
• Knowledge of and ability to complete tasks in compliance with NEC Electrical Codes.
• Ability to read and perform tasks based on technical drawings, building plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and execute resolution of complex electrical problems.
• Experience with above and below ground conduit bending, threading, and routing.
• Install and maintain residential and commercial wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Perform trenching and excavating as needed.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Our Story
Jep Harr was born in Austin, Texas and moved to Nashville in 2008. With 19 years experience, he is highly skilled and knowledgeable in his trade. Starting as an apprentice in the late 90’s, Jep worked to earn his Journeyman’s license and ultimately his Master’s licensure in 2010.
Before starting Harr Electric, Jep served the Nashville community as an electrician for the Davidson County Parks department. Jep is dedicated to providing superior customer service and is known for his upstanding character and commitment to his quality of work.
