Using a combination of the Festool Domino for alignment and additional glue surface, paired with pocket screws for clamping force, the two make a surprisingly effective board stretcher.

Using specialty biscuits like the Lamello Tenso system minimizes prep while creating an exceptionally strong bond with up to 30 lbs of clamping pressure per Tenso.

Those two holes at the bottom? Placement for metal dowels that transfer the exact location to the back of the baseboard, allowing for a precise installation.

Before we get our blades resharpened, we are able to extend their life a little longer with a simple cleaning. Pitch build up can cause a bad quality cut, and heat build up which will drastically reduce the life of the blade
