🎭 Teacher Feature: Meet Francesca Coverini
Soprano | Teaching Artist | Advocate for “Music for All”

A fearless performer with a passion for accessibility, Francesca brings her vibrant stage presence and vocal expertise to CFVA’s Summer Institute.

Trained at the Boston Conservatory and the Peabody Institute, Francesca has performed an impressive range of operatic roles—from sweet ingénues to clever schemers—with recent appearances as Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi and Die Erste Dame in The Magic Flute.

When she’s not on stage, Francesca is deeply committed to arts education. As a CFVA Teaching Artist, she provides private voice lessons and works directly with students in Title I schools and the Boys & Girls Club—helping young voices grow with confidence and purpose.

This summer, Francesca brings her energy, warmth, and vocal artistry to Summer Institute.

Happy Spring! I am beyond excited to announce my season with you all ☀️ I will be joining Opera Orlando again for their mainstage double bill at the Dr. Phillips Center as well as Orlando Sings for their professional choir’s showcase in mid May. I am also excited to be performing in my first ever oratorio opera, singing the soprano role of Seraph (angel) with Grace United in Melbourne.

This week I start my season as a part of the Holocaust Center’s White Rose Benefit Gala. All funds raised support the Holocaust Center and its work to use the lessons of the Holocaust to create a more just and caring community free from antisemitism and all forms of prejudice and bigotry.

More performances to come!
