After thorough diagnostics, we identified a faulty compensator on the implement pump as the root cause. During disassembly, we uncovered severely damaged input shaft splines.

John Deere’s quote for a replacement pump was $10,959, with parts on national backorder, leaving the customer facing costly delays. We took decisive action: partnered with a trusted machine shop to custom-build a precision-engineered input shaft, rebuilt the pump to OEM standards, and refilled the system with premium Schaeffer’s TF oil.
