Great ideas? They need creativity.
And, they need friction.

Here’s what most high-achievers don’t realize: when you’re overwhelmed, scattered, or spinning your wheels — it's often because creativity is being stifled by deadlines, judgements, your inner critic, or research that becomes a rabbit hole of endless scrolling.

You’re not leading your work anymore. It’s dragging you.

And it's all because your creativity stopped have a direction and a bit of good old fashioned...friction—that you created on purpose.

In the latest podcast episode of Create Today, I talk about:
- Why unlimited options create paralysis, not freedom.
- How to build a creative brief that gives your brain the structure it actually needs
- The one question that will help you move from overwhelmed to in-the-flow. (and this question...is a strange one.)

Whether you’re leading a team, running a business, or trying to finish a project that keeps stalling — this episode is practical, grounded, and surprisingly useful.

How can you zig when everyone else is zagging?..Use creativity as your biz tool of choice!

Liz Wilcox relies on her creativity everyday...
She has turned a $9/month membership into a six-figure business using her creative mindset and the willingness NOT to follow all the latest trends.

In this week's podcast of "Create Today,"
Liz Wilcox shares how she thinks differently with her biz ideas, and how you can too, no matter your role or industry.

Here's some of the creative tea that's spilled:
- Non-negotiables are the fuel that creates possibilities
- Action breeds confidence, not the other way around
- Celebration is a creative must — even for the tiniest win!

If your drafts folder is full of unsent emails, your ideas keep getting pushed to the warming drawer, or you've been waiting to feel "ready" before you start — this one is for you.

Revive. Realize. Refine. Release.
That's my Going FourWords Framework.

Four words that let you:
Rest when you need it.
See possibilities you've been missing.
Do the work that matters.
And let your goodness out into the world.

It's for your whole self. Heart. Mind. Body. Soul.

Because when YOU feel better?
Your work gets better.
Your relationships get better.
Everything you're building right now...gets better.

The latest Create-Today episode takes you inside all four words.

FOUR words that can shift you to better living. 05/21/2026

Busy day? (Probably.)
The aim for all our busy days?
Get stuff done. (And make progress doing all the stuff.)

I think, we would all agree...
We spend our busy days getting stuff done to...
go forwards with dreams and plans.

Forwards...is a super great direction.

But, often we feel stagnated.
Like our wheels are spinning – taking us nowhere.
Or, we feel like downward spirals are tugging us backwards.

What if FOUR words...could help you go forwards?

The latest Create-Today episode explains how my
"Going FourWords" Framework helps you,
well... go forward.

What are you holding onto?

The dream you haven't shared.
The work you keep deciding... is not quite finished.
An outgrown version of yourself you haven't let go of yet.

We hold onto "things" because it feels safer than letting go.
We worry about judgement...what will people say?
But holding on...will not allow you to reach for growth and goals.

Release is the fourth and final word in my "Going FourWords" Framework.
Learning to open your hands—to let go... of even one thing you're holding onto... that's where everything starts to move again.

Stop holding onto what isn't helping you. (How to RELEASE it!) 05/15/2026

How many things are sitting in your almost-done pile right now?

The email in drafts.
The project labeled "final_final_last edit".
The conversation you keep rehearsing in your head...

Most of us think we are procrastinating.
We are not. We are holding on.

And this difference matters.
Because you CAN learn to release what you're holding onto.

That is what this week's Create Today episode is all about.
RELEASE
Release is the fourth and final word in my "Going FourWords" framework.

This is the stage where everything you have been building... is released out into the world –to do whatever it was made to do.

Release is not giving up. Release is courageous.

Go listen and then share with me: what is one thing you could RELEASE?
Watch how you can RELEASE on YouTube:

Stop holding onto what isn't helping you. (How to RELEASE it!) What You're Holding Onto… Is Holding You Back. (It's time to RELEASE it!)Is there something heavy you’ve been carrying around for a while?A project that neve...

Ever have a project that you can't stop tweaking?
Ever have an important email sit in your drafts folder...because it isn't "quite right" yet?

Ever replay a horrible meeting or conversation over and over and over in your head?

If you thought...yep...that's me...
It's time to understand the power of the word "RELEASE"

It's time to RELEASE...and let go of:
That project that is almost done.
The email sitting in drafts.
The pitch you keep rehearsing but never actually pitch.
The dream you keep almost pursuing.

Here is what I have come to understand after years of working with creatives...

Most procrastination is not a discipline problem.
Most perfectionism doesn't actually revolve around being perfect.

It is fear of the RELEASE.
Fear of the judgment, rejection, or perceived failure of your precious work and dreams...and self worth.

NOTE: This fear (of letting go) has a real cost.

In this week's podcast episode of Create Today,
I am sharing the fourth and final word in my
"Going FourWords" framework.

I think it might be the most useful word in the "FourWords" framework word quartet.

The word is RELEASE.

Here's your takeaways:
• Why your nervous system cannot tell the difference between a real threat and one you're only imagining
• How self-compassion outperforms discipline every time when it comes to moving forward
• Seven practical (simple) ways to release what you are holding onto—to catapult you FOURwords. (Pun intended)
• Why "enough" and "done" is not giving up – it is courageous.

If you have been carrying something you were never meant to hold onto forever, this episode is for you.

Ever break a promise to your best friend?
Probably not. Or not very often.

Ever promise yourself...I'll rest, sleep better, move more...tomorrow?
Hmmm... seems like maybe you have broken a promise.

It is not a mystery that we need to pull away from our screens and social media...that we need to get outdoors (more)...that we need to move (more)...but most of us just promise ourselves that we'll do it...later.

You know something needs to change.
And still, nothing changes.

In the latest episode of Create Today, I am exploring exactly why knowing you need better self care is not enough, and what actually moves the needle on wellbeing that can be accomplished (consistently).

It comes down to one word: Refine. And it is not what you think.

Check it out. You'll find it might be easier than you thought to keep your promise of self care...to you (your best friend.)

What if the life you're waiting to live... is already happening?
But...you're missing it...

It's slipping past you – Right now.
In the middle of the mundane.
During the commute.
As you sip your coffee.
In the conversation you half-listened to this morning.

The problem isn't that your life is missing something.
The problem is that autopilot is ghosting you...in your own life..

Science backs this up.
Your brain is literally wired to filter out what you can streamline.

It's efficient. But, it can also be expensive.

Because, so often...guess what gets filtered out?
Joy. Presence. Appreciation. Gratitude.

Those sweet, small moments that, strung together,
make a life feel full.

In the latest "Create-Today" episode we explore the second word of my "Going FourWords" framework.
The word is: REALIZE.

This "Going FourWords" episode will show you:
- Why your brain is designed to miss the good stuff
- How to outsmart it
- How creativity acts as a circuit breaker for autopilot
- 7 practical ways to REALIZE the joy that's already in your day

You don't need a new life.
You need new eyes to discover the life you're living now.
