Such a very Happy Birthday to Casey.

We had a beautiful day at the beach reading Agatha Christie and enjoying nature. We saw a bobcat, deer, coyotes, pelicans, and a herd of Tule Elk. We went home and ate Chinese food and cake and watched Forged in Fire. A solid family day to celebrate our favorite man.

Decorating Grandma's tree and Gingerbread Houses was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

Shhh don't tell anyone we already drank Egg Nog, listened to Christmas carols, and put up our own tree last week. 🤣

Feeling grateful.

They took nothing, because there was nothing to take, except for our favorite Lemur Mug and some well-used car seats, which apparently were not of interest. 

Surprising that they'd break in when the parking lot had numerous cars in it and was on the edge of suburbia. Alas.
