From a few gifted plants to one of my favorite blooms of the year. 🌿💙

These hydrangeas have been putting on a show for over 10 years. They were gifted to me in 2015 when I first moved in by my friend Tara—a savvy landscape designer, avid upcycler, and Saturday morning estate sale treasure hunter. She had a knack for finding plants that just needed the right home and was always dropping off a new rescue for the garden.

This year’s blooms are a reminder that some of the best gifts keep giving long after they’re planted. Hydrangeas never disappoint when they’re happy, and these beauties are proof.
