A Nantucket Summer Sunset-✍️ I can always stop and appreciate.⚓️ Last night before heading back home, something in the sky told me to turn around. So I made my way to Galley Beach area, and she did not disappoint. Upon arriving, many gathered to sit and watch. Seeing everyone watching, many taking selfies & photos. Everyone from all walks of life. Local islanders, year rounders, seasonal workers & of course vacationers. We are all just humans, living a moment together. No one is above or below each other. Yes, Nantucket is a place, where it has many opinions on what it is and what it was. Myself included has many opinions, on the ever changing environment. Although, I’ve lived a true Nantucket Life. An experience that I wouldn’t change for the world. Having been exposed to what I call “The Real Nantucket” working and living here year round.

For a moment, it warms my heart to see everyone just “stop” for a brief pause- to watch Mother Nature.

We are just humans collectively living together on this rock. Floating through a vast space in the universe.

Nantucket Life lately.✍️⚓️
Memorial Day Weekend is upon us.
I’ve been taking in the calm before the summer crowds start making their returns.
This season feels good so far- after a harsh winter.❄️

Took a few trips to the brewery, Sconset, and many late afternoon beach walks.

This is where my photography starts to ramp up again. Capturing the essence of the summer here on Nantucket. You’ll start to see me around town a lot more and if you do see me? Please say hello 👋-
