Angelita's Bookkeeping Inc would like to thank all that came out yesterday to the paint night at Haney's Appledale Farm! 😁
It was so great to meet everyone and I highly enjoyed seeing you all paint and get your art on lol.
Thank you Cheryl Kay for teaching the class!
Thank you to all the staff at Haney’s, the customer service was great and I couldn’t have pulled this off without your help.
The fried apple pies were delicious, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the landscape with the sunset was beautiful!
If you haven’t been out to the farm, definitely check it out. They have yummy pastries, apples, food and more…
I have been asked already by some of the attendees to hold another class in the future, so be on the lookout as we brainstorm another paint night event. 😉
Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Monday! : )
Here is a short explanation of the type of business structures that can be created. Seek legal and a tax prepare's advice to help determine which structure best suit your needs.

Happy Fun Friday! :)

QB Online tip #8 - Utilize Recurring Transactions
Happy Thursday! 🙂

QB Online tip #7 - Backing Up QuickBooks
Happy Monday! 🙂
(P.S. QB Online does back up automatically, however for QB Desktop users this is a crucial tip)

QB Online tip #6 - Reconciling on QuickBooks
Happy Monday! :)

QB Online tip #5 - Inputting Employee Details
Have a great Wednesday! :)

QB Online tip #4 - Input Accurate Customer Details
Setting up Customers in QuickBooks gives you all their info in one place if needed for future reference and to create invoices.
(Screenshot in comments) - Happy Wednesday! :)

QB Online tip #3 - Enter Correct Company Information
When initially setting up your company info in QuickBooks, accuracy matters. Some incorrect errors are fixed easily, others require time out of your day to fix. We all know time is money, so getting it right the first time is worth it. ;)

QB Online tip #2 - Invest in Understanding the Basics
QuickBooks has great training materials, it's definitely worth the time to look it over

Angelita's Bookkeeping Inc sends a big thank you to all who have served and to all the gracious families that have endured the pain of loved ones being lost. You are brave and courageous and I am truly grateful for your sacrifice! 🙏 I honor you today and everyday.
Much love and blessings! ❤️ 🇺🇸

I've just reached 100 followers! Thank you for your continued support. I could never have made it without each one of you. 🙏🤗🎉🙌🏻💛

Angelita's Bookkeeping Inc wishes every momma out there a very warm, beautiful and delightful Mother's Day! 🌹 😁

Teach 'em while they are young...and if you want to take it a step further...teach them about taxes for a prosperous business and eat 50% of their ice cream!! 🤣🤣
Happy Weekend!! :)

Most small businesses use QuickBooks Desktop or Online. Therefore, I will be sharing a few QB tips over the next few weeks to help you stay on track. :)
QB Online tip #1 - Use ProAdvisor
If you don't have a bookkeeper/accountant or do your own books, consulting with a ProAdvisor is a great option.

Mistake #10 - Trying to do it yourself
It's always helpful to have support with your business books. Bookkeepers/Accountants deal with the details so you can focus on running your business. 😉

Mistake #9 - Mis-categorization or over categorization
Another good guideline to create a Chart of Accounts is to look at the Schedule C (form 1040) for a Sole Proprietor. Or forms 1120/1120s for Corporations. They have categories listed on those forms to give you an idea of what the IRS considers an expense category.

Yes this sums it up pretty much! 😏
Happy Friday and happy Weekend!! :)

Mistake #8 - Petty cash nonchalance
Business owners who use petty cash need an accountability system. Put those practices in place to avoid fraud and theft.💸

Mistake #7 - Failing to collect or deduct the appropriate sales tax
Many small business owners are unaware that this tax needs to be collected and paid to their state Department of Revenue. Make sure to find out if your business needs to pay this tax. 💸
Happy Monday! :)

Now ain't this the truth! 🤣 So I hope your business does well but not toooo well according to this....😆 I think we can all relate to this pain, lol.
Happy weekend my well doing entrepreneurs!!

Mistake #6 - Not having a paper back up
Bank/CC statements and pictures of charges on statements is not enough evidence for the IRS. Keep those receipts! (At least throw them in a box or envelope like I do lol 😉)

Mistake #5 - Neglecting to Reconcile
Providing those monthly bank statements to your bookkeeper every month can be a drag, but it's worth the task. It's highly beneficial in knowing where your company stands. ;)

Mistake #4 - Not communicating
It is important to us bookkeepers that our clients communicate. It's the best way to effectively do our job. 😉
Happy Monday!

Life is about balance right?? 🤣
Happy Friday!

Mistake #3 - Failing to properly classify employees
This mistake can bring thousands of dollars in fines and penalties. Be sure to classify your help correctly.
Happy Wednesday! :)

I know it's not Christmas but I thought this was funny due to how true it is!! Keep those receipts, don't get in trouble with your Accountant 🤣
Happy Friday!!

Happy Thursday! :D
Mistake #2 - Failing to track reimbursable expenses
Even the smallest expense adds up. ;)

I'll be sharing some of the most common bookkeeping mistakes a small business owner makes. Let's make sure we doing our best to stay organized. ;)
Mistake #1 - Neglecting to save receipts under $75

It would seem the IRS is going to become very rich on this day...🤣🍀🌈
Happy St. Patricks Day! 😁

If you are doing your own books as a small business owner, the best tool to have is an accounting software.
Here is the link with the pros and cons to each software:

Have a great day! :)

My father taught me to find a career that brings true happiness vs working in a job I do not like. Despite the struggles and long hours I truly enjoy what I do. This is what true success is to me.
What does business success look like for you?

The beach was on my mind today...my dream got squashed quickly...🤣
Happy Friday!

Make sure to run those weekly reports, we need to know where our money is going. 💸😉
Happy Wednesday!

Definitely the face I make when I know it's going to be a couple of weeks before I'm around civilization...😫🤣
Happy Friday to all entrepreneurs! To the extrovert remote business owners I feel your pain! ;)
