A gigantic, heart-felt thank you to those of you who were able to help with the Boise Rescue Mission Ministries donation project. Kierstin from A Beautiful Mess delivered everything yesterday. Amazing! We drew four names from everyone who donated as a small way of saying thank you from our family: Sue Sonke, Barbara Rose, Pam Bridges, Carol Long, Jane Kennedy. ❤️

We're on the countdown folks to fill a whopping 70 bags for the ladies at the local Boise Rescue Mission shelter here in Nampa. We have just 9 days now! We've had a tremendous response and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! However, we're still a ways from being able to give each lady a beautiful hand-made tote with at least a few necessities and maybe a special something just for her. If you can help an any way, please let us know or just drop your donations to one of our four locations: A Beautiful Mess, The Thrifty Owl, Two Old Cats in a Barn or Mustard Seed Home Decor & More. Each business is holding some sort of drawing for donors to say thank you. If you haven't checked your home to see if you have any of these items (unopened) just sitting at home, do that first. I promise that any and every donation helps. If you'd like to make a monetary donation and have us do the shopping, we're happy to do that when we go to make our final shopping trip. Also, anyone who is willing to "Adopt a Tote" and take on filling one tote entirely (not literally), we will hold a separate drawing for a $50 Mustard Seed store credit! One entry for every bag you adopt.

We have just 13 days left to collect enough items to fill 70 hand-made tote bags for the Nampa Boise Rescue Mission shelter. We'd like to do something special for these women this season to make them feel loved and thought of. A cute bag filled with essentials and goodies just for them! Almost all the bags are finished (made a dear friend of Downtown Nampa) and now we're working on filling them up. You can help by checking at home first. Lots of people have these items sitting in their drawers or cupboards unopened. No donation is too small! We had a lovely lady drop off three bags of hand-made scarves this morning. What an incredible community we live in! You can drop your donations at any of our four locations: A Beautiful Mess, The Thrifty Owl, Two Old Cats in a Barn and Mustard Seed Home Decor & More. Each store will be holding a separate drawing with prizes to say thank you. Everyone who donates will be entered at that location for their prize/s.

Help Downtown Nampa merchants "Share the Love" this holiday season! Four of your downtown merchants have teamed up with Boise Rescue Mission and their Nampa location with approx. 70 women in need. This time of year, there are often other resources like Toys for Toys and food banks to help with meals, but we'd like to reach the women this time around. Our goal is to give them each a beautiful hand-made tote (made by a lovely friend of Downtown Nampa, Miss Kathleen) filled with lots of necessities and some fun gifts too. Each of us four is a drop-off location (A Beautiful Mess, The Thrifty Owl, Two Old Cats in a Barn & Mustard Seed Home Decor & More). Pick up a flyer or see the list below for ideas, but we are absolutely grateful for anything you can do to help us reach this tremendous goal for 70 women! You might already have some of these items at home just sitting there like two of our other donors so far. For those of you who donate at Mustard Seed, we're doing a drawing for gift cards and prizes as our way of saying thank you.

This weekend!! Come down to downtown nampa! Don’t wanna miss the spring market!

You guys....we’re exactly one week away from our big Spring Market next Saturday, March 14th (9am-4pm) inside Mustard Seed and the huge warehouse in our building in Downtown Nampa where we will host some incredible local vendors this year!
We’ve got 2 local nurseries bringing succulents, plants and flowers 💐 plus 2 brand new furniture vendors. We’ve got vintage vendors, painted glass, metal yard art, lots of Spring and home decor and so much more in store for you. We even have an amazing and cute surprise in our fiber art vendor’s booth... baby lambs just born this week! What a way to kick off the new season.
You can even grab a bite with a full service food truck inside, plus hand-made caramels and yummy baked goods outside! We’re so excited about our second year of this Spring market and we’ve worked so hard to create a bright and colorful Spring setting to kick off Spring just 2 days before it actually starts. You don’t want to miss out.
Lastly, we have begun the process of moving everything out and brand new furniture pieces & home decor inventory inside the store for some great shopping!
Please grab a partner or 3 🤪 and make plans to be in Downtown Nampa next Saturday. All 11 vintage, antique and home goods shops will be open (within 2 blocks) with great finds so plan to stay and explore your downtown.
