It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Kelly.

Kelly wasn’t just part of Fyrebird Recovery—she was family. She was a constant presence, a source of laughter, strength, compassion, and unwavering support. She showed up for people without hesitation, believed in the dignity of every person, and dedicated herself to protecting those who are too often overlooked.

Kelly understood the power of community. She believed that keeping one another safe starts with sharing knowledge, standing together, and never letting anyone face danger alone.

To honor her life and continue the work she cared so deeply about, we are proud to dedicate our community safety network as The Kelly Signal Initiative.

May this initiative serve as a lasting reminder that Kelly’s love, courage, and commitment to protecting others will continue to save lives. Every warning shared, every person protected, and every act of community care will carry a piece of her legacy forward.

We hope you're having a great week. We wanted to let everyone know that we have returned to our normal center hours:

Monday: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

We would also like to share an important update regarding our pantry services. Effective immediately, our pantry will be closed to the general public until further notice. As we continue to assess community needs and available resources, we will be focusing our pantry efforts on providing non-perishable food items and essential supplies to individuals experiencing homelessness.

Although our pantry operations are changing, our mission remains the same. This adjustment allows us to focus our resources where the need is greatest while continuing to serve our community with compassion, dignity, and support.
