The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall returns to Myrtle Beach this Thursday through Sunday, May 25-28. Thanks to the Myrtle Beach Vet Center and Veterans Café, the wall will be staged in the field in front of Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium, 1004 Crabtree Lane. Admission is free! The traveling memorial is a three-fifths scale replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. It stands six feet tall at the center and is nearly 300 feet long. The Vet Center will provide on-site support, and the wall will be guarded for the entire length of its stay in Myrtle Beach. Visitors are welcome 24 hours-a-day. Free parking is available on Forbus Court, Crabtree Lane and in nearby public parking spaces. See the schedule of events below.

Myrtle Beach Military Appreciation Days City of Myrtle Beach - Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism

Dive into springtime at Myrtle Beach’s Easter Egg Plunge! Children ages three to 12 are invited to participate in this free aquatics activity on Friday, April 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Mary C. Canty Recreation Center’s swimming pool. Bathing suits are required! Kids will play games, search for Easter eggs and make arts and crafts. The Myrtle Beach Fire and Police Departments will also bring their vehicles for the kids to explore.
