Pecans have been grown throughout Oklahoma since it became a state in 1907. In the 1910 U.S. Census, it was recorded that Oklahoma had more than 150 thousand pecan trees and harvested over 189 thousand pounds of nuts.

It was an honor to have Gracie come out and show her the orchard and what it takes to manage the orchard throughout the year and our process to harvest and get product on our shelves. Her enthusiasm to learn will make her a great ambassador for agriculture in our county and beyond!
Mayer Pecan’s will be at St. Francis Muskogee Hospital, March 31 & April 1, 8am to 3pm.

It was a perfect day to plant 20 newly grafted pecan trees! These 20 trees will bring in two new varieties to our orchard. Kanza and Lipan varieties are both high yield, disease resistant varieties that also better pollinate our other varieties that will help them produce higher yields as well.

We are officially closed for the 2021 season. Thank you for a great year! We will reopen November 2022.

We’ve had a lot of rain this summer. We spent the weekend getting the orchard back in shape.
While brush hogging our Pecan Orchard Aaron almost mowed over this little baby. It refused to move so he picked it up, put in the cab and continued mowing. When he finished, put it back where he found it.

Our Orchard Pecan Store is closed until next season. We still have Pecans however. They can be purchased locally at the Festive Nest located across from the Federal Building and the Old America Antique Mall located one mile South on highway 69. Festive Nest carries our shelled & flavored pecans. The Antique Mall has our shelled pecans, cracked pecans and pecan oil. You can still contact us at 918 519 9001 for special orders and requests.

Because of the poor weather forecasted for our Annual Pecan Hut secheduled for tomorrow Sat. Jan. 2. We are extending it to Sunday Jan 3. You can still come Saturday if you are willing to brave the cold wet weather. But Sunday it is forecasted to be in the 50’s. Sunday’s time is 1pm to 4pm. Be sure to bring a rake. As mentioned before we will not be cracking Pecans this year.
