Good day in the studio. Great to throw again- just love Laguna B Mix clay. Threw different sizes- practitioner with Garrity ribs. Also using a new plant stake cookie cutter - trying to figure out the best ways to use it. Also used Amaco underglazes on greenware sponge holders.

Finally glazing again. Trying new combinations of glazes and a tester piece. And awesome to have B there with me:)

Did lots of trimming the other day. Learning so much and loving my new BuschKraft trimming tool! Interested to see if my sponge holders dry with less torque this time.

Had the best night of throwing:) Felt so in the moment. Thought about making the globe vase oval but no idea how to trim it that way so went back to circular. More to learn!

New pieces out of the kiln the other day. I love the bowl in the Amaco blue rutile glaze. Not thrilled with the gray speckled clay as it bubbles too much. Happy with my new little plates in Amaco storm and snow celadon glaze. The tall skinny cup sucked up all the glaze of textured turquoise.
