Meet our new General Manager, Alec McMorris. Alec lost his right leg above the knee in an Auto-Pedestrian accident in late 2013. Since that time Alec has been committed to helping amputees reach their goals and create positive outcomes. Alec has experience working in all angles of prosthetics. He has built knees for Freedom Innovations, built sockets for numerous users, and continues to consult for the University of Utah Bionic Engineering Lab and Ottobock on developing technologies. Alec is a new dad and husband. He loves snowboarding and hanging out with his family. Alec is excited to help Mobility Patients grow and accomplish their goals!

Cosmetic covers aren’t typically requested, often times because insurance companies refuse to pay for them and consider them to be “not medically necessary.” But when this patient asked for a cosmetic cover so that her prosthesis would be less noticeable for her new retail job, Mobility Prosthetics went the extra mile to make sure she had a prosthesis that she loved.

How’s this for a day at the office?  Did you know that Mobility Prosthetics provides in-home service to amputees in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming and Colorado?  We even visit homes in the most rural areas, like Duchesne County, in Utah!
