Being in the wedding industry for over 22 years (since I was 14!) I have been so honored to help many sweet couples from around the world prepare for their big day. However, I have never been so humbled and excited to help two of my most favorite people in the world prepare for their big day at my family's venue.

One of my favorite parts of the planning was Brittany agreeing to a thrift store wedding dress bachelorette party!! Anyone that knows me, knows that I love dressing up and making a fabulous fool of myself. We had such a wonderful team of gals come together to celebrate our girl! And props to Autumn Rogers and my niece Ellie Gebel for helping us girls wrangle the 25 point bustle! 😅

Brittany and I have shared tears, honest conversation, but most of all SO much laughter and silliness over the last 8 years, and I can't wait for my husband Casey and I to grow old with Brittany and Matt.

Congratulations my sweet, beautiful friend. I'm honored to be a part of this chapter of life with you. ❤

As much as we hate rainy days like this, isn’t there something so romantic about the rain? Yes, most of the time I’m running as fast as I can, making the ugliest face possible... But in my head I'd like to envision that I’m wearing a gorgeous flowy dress and making out with my husband under a street light.

If it rains on your wedding day, you can actually make those dreamy moments a reality! This is why it is important have a venue with a backup plan and covered areas for pictures, as well as choosing the right photographer to capture your day perfectly, regardless of the weather! These beautiful spaces are unimproved, but are pretty gorgeous as-is. You can get away and be in the middle of nature, but still have access to all of the amenities that McGuire's has to offer!
