Our ministry is requesting donations of new bedding and undergarments to meet the immediate needs of men entering our discipleship-based drug and alcohol recovery program. We are specifically in need of the following items for our residents:
• Twin-size Fitted Sheets
• Standard-size Pillowcases
• Boxer Briefs (All sizes S-XXL)
• Black or White T-shirts (All sizes S-XXL)
• Socks
*All donated items should be new and in their original packaging!*

In March of 2023, Renewed Hope Ministries suffered a catastrophic fire that destroyed our baling room. Baling operations have historically been a major source of funding for our ministry, comprising approximately 25% of our revenue, and our inability to bale clothes over the past six months has been a significant financial hardship.

However, God is good! By His grace, we were able to rebuild the baling room and have resumed baling operations. Still, the cost of rebuilding coupled with the loss of revenue cannot be ignored.

God is our provider and sustainer, and we are trusting in Him to continue to meet the needs of this ministry in partnership with His faithful servants.

Our goal is to secure $50,000 in funding by the end of 2023 to recoup our losses, and we are relying on the generosity of donors like you to help us reach this goal. We ask that you prayerfully consider how the Lord might be leading you to give.

The morning of Tuesday, March 7th there was a fire in our baling room that destroyed the bulk of our building and our baling machine. This area is where we receive, process, sort and bale clothing and other textiles for bulk shipment. This operation is a large part of our revenue stream accounting for up to 25% of the total operating budget yearly. This operation also produces and processes the clothing sold in the thrift store which also generates revenue for our Ministry.

We are going to rebuild! We’ve been actively working to clear away all debris related to the fire. We have been searching directly and through other contacts for a replacement baler. We have replaced some items lost in the fire that are needed for our daily operations. We are prepared to move forward. We are asking and are in need of your help.

There are countless ways you can get involved and be a part of what the Lord is doing in and through the men sent to our Ministry for discipleship and life change. We also gladly accept donations through the mail or in person at our Ministry. You can also let us know if you might be able to give your time and skill set to the rebuild. We need people, we need your help. If you have construction skills in any trade, we could use your help in the rebuild. If you have materials or access to materials, you can help. We could also use volunteers to help us in the processing and hanging of clothing for sale in our thrift store. Since we aren’t bailing clothes at this moment, we are hoping to sell even more clothing in our store. This will help to offset some of the losses for this season. This means we need help keeping clothing on the racks. We are open to any suggestions and would love to have you involved in helping us during this time. We are still attempting to operate as close to normal as possible in both our store operation and all other revenue centers. We are passionate about serving the men that come into our program and serving our community through the thrift store. We want to keep the level of service at a high standard and continue to serve our residents free of charge. We are grateful for your willingness to come alongside and partner with us as we rebuild and move forward as God sees fit.

Our graduations are open to the public and devoted to celebrating the amazing work God is doing in the lives of these men and the milestone of completing one year at our ministry.

The graduation ceremony will be held at Mountainview Church; 169 Smith Hollow in Murphy, NC at 6pm. A meal will follow afterward for fellowship.
