Thanks to my amazing husband and partner in Indigo Mountain Traders, for holding down the fort so I could go spend time with the gbabies! For those of you who may not know, our roots were in Maui and I lost my job in August due to the Lahaina fires. We decided to look for a business in Murphy as we had been living in Murphy for a few years and I had been working remotely. We found a business for sale. We purchased it and rebranded it… we kept some things the same and we changed some things too! Our first 6 months have been a wonderful journey and we love being a part of the Murphy business community downtown! We are so excited for what the future holds. Who needs this baby on their head this St. Patrick’s Day? ☘️ The custom band is removable and the hat can be worn plain or embellished with other accessories! I don’t use glue for that very reason. Nothing is permanent unless it’s branded or burned! Our hats are nice quality with a wide range of price points. So fun! No need to go to Nashville for a cool hat experience, we are Western North Carolina’s premier hat bar!

Scored this beautiful vintage Stetson, beaver felt, this baby will get a facelift and be in my personal hat collection. In case you were wondering, my obsession with hats comes natural. I was raised by a man who was a legit hat connoisseur. My dad always wore a Stetson. I remember him steaming them and shaping them. Hence my hat fe**sh, lol 😂 I love hats, all kinds of hats…Excited to make a small part of Indigo Mountain Traders a tribute to my love of hats and to my father, who always loved his hats! He was larger than life to me and I miss him dearly. We just got our steamer in today and I’m steaming away 🤠

Lots going on at Indigo Mountain Traders! We can't believe we are approaching the end of February. Our official grand opening and ribbon cutting will be on Friday, March 22nd at 12:30. We're hosting an open house with refreshments and yummy snacks. Come by and celebrate with us!

Our new windows are going in this week or next so we can gussy up our front window displays and complete our signage! We have kinda been flying under the radar since November, but now things are coming together so we can properly launch this baby!
