Harpp Flower Farm
Seasonal, unique specialty cut flowers. Grown with love in Murphy, NC.
This is the time of year when I lose my pathways…..if you need me, I’ll be in the flower jungle!
When Tiffany asked for a sunflower filled wedding with a very natural look and lots of golden yellow and maroon, I knew it would be a match made in late-summer flower heaven.
OMG, and look at the view at and these gorgeous shots from
Congratulations Tiffany and Chris!!

I have totally fallen for China Asters this year and want to grow gobs more next year. The Aster Master, if you will.
The fact that “Aster Master” makes me giggle so hard to myself is a good example of why I could never be a comedian 🤪
From orchids to marigolds to mushrooms to succulents to National Parks to moss and wood slices, Alessandra and Rob’s wedding was full of inspiration from around the globe!
Local friends! A few updates on things that I have been getting asked about:
I’m not doing a summer or fall bouquet subscription this year. ☹️The good news is that I am planning to have a spring subscription and will post info about sign-ups later this fall. If you’re looking for a bouquet for yourself, your sweetie-pie, your friend, your mama, your daddy, your sister, or whoever, you can find us at the Union County Farmers Market on most Saturday mornings, or you can send me a message!
This week, you can also find bouquets at Black and White Market in downtown Murphy or at the Hanging Dog General Store!
Fall workshops at Compass Rose Art Collective are posted. Sign up to make a dried Flower pumpkin or a dried flower wreath!
Stay tuned for the announcement of the next Floral Design Dinner at Sage in late August!
Shannon and Ty’s wedding was straight out of a fairytale.
Julia and I immediately connected over our shared love of muted colors, dusty purples and pinks, and side-of-the-road flowers, leading to a woodsy inspired bouquet that was full of texture, movement, and sunset tones.
It makes me smile so so so big when a bride sends me pictures of her wedding. Doesn’t .srabian look beautiful?!

June 28-July 4 is American Flowers Week. Did you know that you have multiple flower farms around western North Carolina and north Georgia? This means multiple ways to enjoy locally grown, seasonal flowers!
In Murphy, you have me ( )
In Hayesville, you have

All of our farms have somewhat different focuses in terms of the varieties of flowers we grow and the different markets we cater to. Between us, you can have local flowers for your home, your business, your celebrations, and your weddings. You can enjoy simple market bouquets, buckets of flowers to DIY with, take a workshop on arranging flowers, or have fun at a flower you-pick.
Our farms have one major thing in common-we all work hard to bring professional quality, seasonal, specialty cut flowers to all of you! We all support each other, are friends, and encourage each other (we’re also all women owned farms👩🌾💪💐)
Approximately 80% of cut flowers sold in the US are imported and full of unregulated pesticides and preservatives that are known to have serious health and environmental effects. Please take minute to share this post and get the word out about your local flower farms and the joy of seasonal flowers!
Every single thing about this picture from a sweet elopement earlier this spring makes me smile!

It’s not every day that you have butterflies visit while setting up for a wedding! It happened not once, not twice, but three times today. I feel like this must be a magical sign for the couple. Congratulations Jill and Kiko!
It’s a fun time of year where late spring flowers and early summer flowers collide, leading to bouquets full of color and texture! Grab one today at Union County Farmers Market
Never in a million years would I have guessed that I’d be a “rose person.” Yet, here we are. These will be so great to add to bouquets next year!
With loads of ranunculus and peonies, I wonder how many petals this bouquet has?!
If you’ve been following along this flower journey for awhile, you might remember last year when I declared that Canterbury Bells were my new favorite spring flower. That hasn’t changed a bit! The lavender ones are bumping right now and are in all the bouquets this week. Come check them out at the Union County Farmers Market!
I think that one seed landed in the wrong tray 🙃
Moody skies call for moody flowers
Trying something new this year……
All set up at the Union County Farmers Market! Come grab a bouquet of fresh flowers (and some veggies, crafts, and plants)
Eeek! You guys, it’s my first ever rose! I’m a total newbie with rose growing, but goodness, this one has me hooked.
I keep thinking about these gorgeous colors and fluffy flowers. These flowers travelled 41 miles from field to venue 100% locally grown wedding flowers. Super exciting!
Congratulations Nautica and Andrew!! You were a joy to work with and I wish you a lifetime of laughter and love!
I spy with my little eye, the first beginnings of summer.
Lots of the zinnias are budding up (like the little one off to the right in this picture), but this is the first one that is changing into a flower. Get ready to be smacked with those bright summer colors!
Whew, these past couple of weeks have been non-stop with planting, harvesting, weddings, flipping beds, w**d patrol, kid fun, and end-of-school year stuff. It gets me so exciting thinking about summer!
Have you ever been to Daffodillys Plant Co.? It’s an incredibly sweet shop in Copperhill, full of gorgeous houseplants. There’s also scrumdidliumptious coffee, treats, and herbs from The Folk Collaborative. And now there’s fresh flowers too! Freshly stocked on Thursdays for a build-your-own bouquet bar and/or premade bouquets. It’s super fun and definitely worth the trip!
