Our operators had the opportunity this week to get some hands on specialized training for GPS/GNSS site layout, and machine control. GPS excavation (stakeless construction) is the future as it is the foundation for automation in our industry. It cuts down dramatically on labor hours per project, as it enables experienced operators to operate faster, and it provides novice operators the bumpers they need to be productive. Special thanks to Brooks Tractor - Mount Pleasant for the course, it was super informative and fun! We will be back.

Excavated the foundation for the new Scooters coffee in Hartford today. There was 12"-16" of frost in the ground. It took about 3 hours to rip the frost, about hour and a half to dig the foundation. Already poured, curing as I type this post. Credit always goes to the Masterwork guys. Whatever it takes.
