The perfect, pretty cake I posted yesterday? Yeah, it didn’t start out that way. My caramel filling was way too soft and started pouring out the sides despite a strong buttercream dam. I had to completely deconstruct it and start all over again. Was it worth it? Oh yeah. But not every single cake goes perfectly smooth every time!

Oh baby 🫶🏼I love this baby shower cake so much! It took a ton of time today and so much attention to detail but was sooo worth it!

The notes for this order were- Dia Les dos mu***os + a touch of western with the color theme of black, turquoise and red. I won’t lie. This one through me for a bit of a loop. I had the hardest time figuring out which direction to go with it but I love the way it came out! Cake details: chocolate layers + chocolate whipped mousse filling and fresh strawberries + vanilla buttercream for the outer layer. Also, one dozen matching cupcakes!
