Finishing up this week with end of year installations and site visits.

This fun project of a vintage car "man cave" is in its final stages. Supply chain issues, labor backlogs, and normal scheduling scenarios have made 2021 a bit of a challenge. I'd like to believe that 2022 will be different, but just changing the calendar year isn't going to clear this up. I'm not even sure putting your refrigerators, dishwashers, or furniture on your Santa list will bring them to you this year, naughty or nice!!

The vintage cars are all lined up waiting for their forever playground. Pictures to follow when completed.

On a recent site visit to an ongoing project, an antique car man cave, I came across this framed collage of car shows that have been visited by the owners.
Look closely, they have been ongoing patrons of our Taste of Mount Joy. You never know where your travels will take you.
Such a fun project to be working on. Will post pictures as the project comes to completion.

Twenty seven years ago today, Room with a View was established in this quaint cottage on the west end of town.

Fall, and the upcoming holidays are a great time to layer your accessories.

Are you someone who puts all your normal decorations away when you bring out your holiday decor? Or, do you layer your fall decor into your already existing decorative treasures? I tend to do both depending on what I am bringing out, and where I am placing decorations.

Fall and winter are also a great time to rest what you normally have out. It's fun to get them back out in January and maybe look at giving them a new spot in your home.

Looking for something to do on this rainy day? Why not grab a cup of coffee and your favorite magazines, or online idea source, and start your own personal decorating idea book.

It's helpful when that next project comes along to have your own library you can access as a starting point.
You may find a consistency in style, color, texture, and pattern that you didn't realize you gravitate to.

I have had an idea folder that I started 15 years ago and find when I look through it I still love most of what I have collected in it. Your idea book can be as organized as you want it to be. Or it can just be a folder that you load up with images to sort through later.

Although these pictures are dated, they are a nice reminder to me that I like to have warm colors in my personal palette.
