Looking back on 2024 AAP pool season
- Some random pool photos of a few of the jobs this year.
All photos displayed here are of pools we have personally built.
Once again - For those that have asked; I have shied away from taking on any new pool build contracts again this past year but hoping we will be cranking up that end of the business back again soon .
In the meantime - our pool service (Pool Liner replacements - AutoCover replacements- Pumps, filters and heaters and all things pool related) will be our main focus going into 2025.

Managed to take a few of photos recently revisiting some pools we had built earlier.

Just a note to let people that have called inquiring about new pool construction.... Since 2020 we have downsized (temporarily - I hope) with intentions of ramping up the "New pool construction" end of the business again in the future as soon as I can find the right ambitious protege to train in to take over. As my customers know; I personally have been in the hole building all of the thousand or so pools I've built in the last 45 years and so now lately my body has finally quit listening to my over eager brain and it's time to step back from the heavy construction.
I am still doing all aspects of pool service in the meantime. This includes liner and autocover replacements, mechanical equipment and components repairs and replacements and of course pool openings and winterizing. Thanks for your understanding.

Seems like a lot of my work this year came with a non-planned "1980's Theme". This is the third one I did extensive upgrade work on this year. I was out today working on this beautiful pool that I built back in the late 80's. Great customers that became friends over the years.

July 2019 Update...Decided to try something different this year and turn down all of the new pool construction this spring and just do a bunch of service and renovations for a change that were normally reserved for mid-summer after the Spring rush was over. . Took this pool on that I built 33 years ago. When you're old like me, it takes on a whole new sense of accomplishment to take one of your old "babies" and make her new again.. Liner, Coping, Floor, and Heater.
