Sanford Eigenbrode, professor of chemical ecology and division chair of entomology at the University of Idaho, speaks Tuesday during his presentation for the Renfrew Interdisciplinary Colloquium series. In the presentation entitled "Notes From a Basically Applied Scientist," Eigenbrode discussed the relationship between applied and basic sciences and their possible collaboration toward scientific progress.
