Another year of school has started, and this past July, CarePacks was happy to be able to give away 192 backpacks containing school supplies to children through Community Harvest Food Pantry in Morton! I thank God for His provision. Thank you to everyone who gave donations, supported and helped with the fundraiser, and gave of their time to make this possible. Thank you also to my family who puts up with me being a little bit preoccupied with this project during the summer and for helping out.🙂

CarePacks next fundraiser is already set! We are having a pancake breakfast (including bacon and your choice of beverage) on Saturday, June 10th from 8-10 a.m. at Applebee's in Pekin. You can just show up Sat. morning, but Applebee's would like us to pre-sell tickets for the fundraiser before the breakfast for an accurate head count. One ticket per person, $5. per ticket. Thank you to everyone who came out to Culver's last week to support CarePacks! We had a great turnout and I appreciated seeing each of you. Also, thank you to all of my volunteers. You all did a wonderful job!

It's that time of year again!

Thank you for all the support for back to school, 2015!
With your help, we were able to give away 250 backpacks filled with school supplies to children in need from Community Harvest Food Pantry in Morton, Pekin Elementary School in South Pekin and Rock Church in E. Peoria!

Thank you all for coming out and volunteering or enjoying some wonderful food for an important cause! We had a great time and a terrific turnout!
