Hey friend's! I'm still here. Hopefully you are all doing well. Haven't posted much because I had sort of stepped away from the leather work. What started as a hobby became more of a job and the fun part went away. Balancing work schedules, family stuff, and order deadlines became overwhelming. That being said I still enjoy creating things but at a slower pace.

I have some goods made up and would like to shift gears and rather than take orders I will raffle off items. This will allow me to create at my own leisure! Currently, I have 2 zippered tote bags along with a couple Father's Day bundles that include a dopp kit and a money clip wallet!

Hey Friends! Long time no post. First off I hope each and every one of you is doing well. Life has been crazy for all of us.

To answer the question I've received a lot lately...I am indeed still making leather goods. Not nearly at the capacity I was. Earlier this year I decided to take a step back and slow things down. The work had become more of a chore than a fun hobby. Balancing the stress of work, family life, order deadlines, and everything in between started to take its toll. As a creator I was burnt out and didn't want to make anything.

Sometimes a break is a good thing! I have recently started making stuff again. Creating pieces with color combinations I want to try and experimenting with new design ideas. I don't plan to open up the books and take a bunch of orders but I plan to offer some ready made items for sale or possibly raffle!

I appreciate every single one of you and thank you for the continued support! I wish you all the very best as the holidays and new year approach.

Hey friends! A customer reached out and was worried her bag might be ruined. If you swap bags for a few months and come back to find your beautiful tote now has a powdery white substance DON'T PANIC! This is called bloom! It is not mold. It is simply the excess wax or fat within the leather pushing to the surface. These waxes and fats are stuffed into high quality leathers during the tanning process to make them supple and prevent drying out. Couple things you can do! A horse hair shoe brush and a little buffing and it will blend right back in. You can also take a hair dryer and carefully melt it back into the leather just do not stay in one area too long. Or if you're local and would like to get your bag to me I will 100% take care of it for you! Customer service does not stop after the sale! Hope this helps. Have a great day everyone!

I recently seen a post from a fellow leather worker talking about how he used to avoid including hide imperfections in his work. When I first started I could definitely relate.

I have grown to love the range marks, scars, fat lines, and unique brands! Each "imperfection" tells a story and is 100% one of a kind to that animal.
