A quick update for tomorrow’s class.
Free Range Yogis Tomorrow 9:30am @ Little Guatemala🌿
Our little family is focusing on rest, nourishment, and supporting our immune systems this week, so I won’t be able to be there tomorrow.
Many of you already know Jo from the last couple of weeks. She’s been helping with my children. She’s also a certified yoga instructor, and beautiful human and I know you’ll be in wonderful hands.
She also wanted me to clarify that while her kid is now too old for Free Range Yogis, she will not be bringing a baby goat as a fill-in. 😂🐐
After our biggest class yet last week, we’ve been reflecting on ways to help the flow of the class as our community continues to grow. Free Range Yogis will always be a space where children are welcome to be children. They don’t need to follow every pose or stay perfectly still.
We’ll also be introducing a few gentle cues and transitions to help our growing group move through class together while still keeping the relaxed, child-friendly spirit that Free Range Yogis is all about. We’ll be encouraging little ones to stay a bit closer to their caregiver, engage with a favorite toy, stuffed animal, snack, or join in with the class when they feel called.
A couple scheduling notes:
• Jo will also be leading next week’s class. 6/17
• There will be no class 6/24 the following week.
• Then we’ll be back together again after that7/1.
I’m so grateful for Jo stepping in and for this beautiful community we’re creating together.
See you all soon. ❤️

My heart is overflowing with gratitude after this morning’s Free Range Yogis.
To the families who have been coming since the beginning, thank you for trusting me as this little idea finds its footing and grows into what it’s meant to be.
And to all of the new caregivers who joined us this week, welcome. We are so happy you’re here.
Starting Just four weeks ago, we have been a much smaller circle. This morning, we had 12 adults and 25 children gathered together for movement, breath, connection, play, laughter, and community.
There were babies, toddlers, preschoolers, moms, caregivers, snacks, stuffed animals, yoga poses, deep breaths, wandering little feet, and lots of joyful noise. In many ways, it was exactly what Free Range Yogis was always meant to be.
As we continue to grow, we’re learning right alongside this beautiful community. One thing we’ll be encouraging moving forward is helping our littles stay close to their caregiver during class. Bringing a favorite toy, comfort item, or snack can help create a smoother experience for everyone while still honoring the relaxed and welcoming spirit of Free Range Yogis.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for sharing your children with me.
Thank you for rolling out your mats in a circle and helping create something that feels so needed.
I am deeply grateful for every one of you, and I can’t wait to gather again next Wednesday. ❤️
Free Range Yogis will continue next Wednesday at 9:30 AM. ❤️ Little Guatemala

After being gone for eight months, we finally made it back to Western North Carolina, and honestly… I’ve been a bit quiet on here, soaking up this season with my children. Creek days, river days, slow mornings, sunshine, community, and being home again.
At the same time, there have also been some really beautiful things happening quietly behind the scenes, one of them being a complete redesign and refresh of The Satsang Project website ✨
The heart of it is still the same, but it now feels so much more aligned with the vision, the feeling, and the direction everything is growing toward.
And I truly could not have done that without Kara Jones
Kara didn’t just redesign a website for me. She saw the feeling behind it all. She understood the heart of the project, the softness, the community, the vision, and somehow translated all of that into something that genuinely feels like me.
I’m so grateful for her.
If you haven’t looked through the updated website yet, I’d love for you to wander through it a little ✨ I’m really excited for this next season of Satsang Project.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) morning 🤍 Free Range Yogis at Little Guatemala, 9:30 AM.
One of my favorite parts about hosting class here is that nobody has to rush off afterward. Grab a coffee, let the littles keep playing, hang out on the patio, head outside to the outdoor soccer field, eat some delicious food, stay awhile.
The indoor soccer field has honestly been such a fun space for this because the kids can truly be kids.
Bring a mat, blanket, or towel if you have one. I’ll have a couple extras.

Yesterday was our very first Free Range Yogis! We had 5 families, 7 little ones (all 3 and under), lots of laughter, lots of movement, a little bit of chaos, and honestly… it felt really good.
There was yoga, breathing, lymphatic drainage, tumbling, climbing, playing, giggling, kids wandering off the mat and then wandering back again.
Exactly as it was meant to be.
And I think we all learned a little something from the first class too.
Next week we’ll likely set up more in a circle, and we’re going to create a little play corner (with an adult to supervise) where the kids can move in and out while still feeling connected to the space. And allowing caregivers to stay on their mat if they choose,
I left feeling really full of gratitude. Grateful for the families that showed up, grateful for Little Guatemala and the indoor soccer field, grateful that this idea I’ve held in my heart for so long is finally alive.
And really excited for next Wednesday already.
Also, someone generously donated $50 toward families who may need support coming to class 🤍 So if cost is ever the thing holding you back, please just reach out. And if anyone feels called to contribute toward helping other families attend, you’re welcome to message me about that too.
See you next Wednesday ✨
