I have been so blessed to have captured several maternity sessions lately. The most recent being Amy & Stephen. Another couple who I've had the honor of photographing their wedding to now their maternity session.

Seeing all these wonderful couples, come back asking me to photograph this special time in their life, reminds me why I do this and how much joy it brings me to capture these moments.

Hello, everyone! 👋 I'm thrilled to introduce myself to all of you visiting my photography page, M.G.C Photo. My name is Megan, and I'm a passionate photographer with a love for capturing life’s nostalgic moments. I specialize in portrait and elopement photography, bringing out the unique essence of each person and couple I photograph.

I am a devoted wife and the proud mother of my little sunshine, Jackson. Together with my husband, we share our home with two adorable long-haired dachshunds, Brady and Buddy, who never fail to bring joy and wagging tails to our days.

When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me indulging in some of my other favorite pastimes—sewing, crocheting, and diving into a good book. These hobbies allow me to express my creativity in different ways and offer a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Born and raised in the heart of Western North Carolina, I've always had a deep appreciation for all things Appalachian. I am drawn to the rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and the warm, welcoming spirit of our community. I like to think of myself as having a nostalgic old soul, cherishing the timeless charm and stories of days gone by.
