Small Bore Legends

Just finished my Freddie Spencer tribute, Grom build.

My first attempt at graphic design with vinyl wrap. A lot of trial and mostly error. I'm trying to emulate Freddie Spencer' CB750F.

I installed a radial master cylinder with a short Nissin brake lever. Unfortunately, it made the clutch lever look entirely too long. So a little cut a tig weld were in order. Since I plan on running bar end mirrors I massaged the clutch perch by shaving the 10mm mounting hole for the factory mirror. I finished by powder coating everything to match.

More vinyl wrap. I also created turn signal trim pieces to better finish the transition between the signal and dash.

After finishing the front caliper I noticed the routing bracket was less than ideal. So I made a new one out of 6061 aluminum.

Something different. I filed all the casting flash off the caliper and sanded it smooth before applying new powder coat. Clamped it in the CNC and did a little engraving.

My wife is getting really good with vinyl wrapping motorcycle parts.

The front end is together for the last time. I think it turned out ok for a shop made front fender and bracket. Front and rear brake calipers are next.

Front fender wet sanded and mount sorted. Ready for powder coat and vinyl wrap.

New fork guards and mounting brackets complete. All the hardware is concealed on the inside. Also fabricated a new front fender bracket and fender.

Finished the front forks lower legs in shredded silver powder coat. Also replaced the internals with Ohlins.

Smooth and ready for powder coat.
