Blue Ridge Jazz through The Harper School is having a concert on the stage in Downtown Lenoir! Performing selections from The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, and more! The concert is free and open to the public. Come on out and enjoy Blue Ridge Jazz's inaugural concert!

Though I may only post about it in June, Daniel Irwin Productions celebrates all year round! This past weekend I was flown out to Dallas, Texas to play with the Oak Lawn Band and had a BLAST. Thank you SO much to everyone that was involved in making this happen, and I'm excited to do it again!

For the SECOND time this year, I have the utmost privilege of conducting at a concert put on by Bands of Freedom . The Justice Concert Band, the Symphonic Pride, and the Patriot Winds are BEYOND excited to show you all what they've been preparing for the last month and a half. We will also be taking time to recognize outstanding members of the band, as this concert is held jointly with the yearly Awards Ceremony. A VERY happy graduation to the class of 2023! From high school, all the way to terminal degrees, I've got friends that are finishing their studies at all levels, and I'm proud of each and every one! Congratulations to you all, and may you too go and toe the line of possibility!

For the first time EVER, will be performing as a SOLO ACT for the Newton Folk Art Festival put on by City of Newton, NC Government & Hickory Museum of Art in tandem with the Southeastern Narrow Gauge & Shortline Museum 's celebration of National Train Day. If you've enjoyed our performances at Lilypalooza put on by the hum or Variety Show put on by Newton-Conover High School you do NOT want to miss this. There will be merch, refreshments, visual art, trains, and of course heart-pounding, toe-tapping, jaw-dropping music! I look forward to seeing everyone there!

On May 13, 2023, Newton Depot is hosting our National Train Day event. We will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Our Historic Newton Depot, Model Railroad Center, Giftshop, Wade’s Train Town, and even our Alexander Railroad Pavilion will be open all day. The event is fun for all ages. If you have never been to the museum this is the perfect opportunity to stop by. Mark your calendars! We look forward to seeing you.
