L Central & Incisor have partial excess plaque which is common being that the sticky nature of plaque traps minerals from your saliva along your lip, especially If left on your teeth for 24 to 72 hours. The minerals accumulate and cause the plaque to harden into tartar.
(Accumulation of the minerals gives tartar its yellow color)

My husband has a history of plaque build up which come from his genetic background. Yes, plaque build up can be caused from genetics! Nothing wrong with that, this just means you may need to take extra steps as preventative treatment to stop the build up.

Although everyone gets plaque, some may develop more plaque than usual if they: Consume a lot of sugary or starchy foods or drinks, may be caused from medications, or poor dental hygiene.

I’m almost certain if you’re reading this post, you’re bound to have heard the news in regard to the mass shooting in Texas. When my husband mentioned the tragedy, I stopped him and said “Wait. What is it. Maybe I don’t want to know.” Because ever since my first born was brought into this world, my heart for children can’t handle some of the stories in the news. My empathy for people changed. I love everyone, I love hard, and I cry hard as if it were my own situations. This is also somewhat of the reason why I stay off social media. Because a lot of the information, my heart can’t handle. I am that personal that literally breaks down crying, shaking, and extremely hurt by the news. I’ve gone back and forth arguing with strangers in regard to how I feel about the many controversial topics amongst us (guns/BLM/politics). But to hear a story about children, it just hits different. No matter who you are, we all really do need to fight for change. No child’s life should be taken over something preventable, let alone an elderly and two heroic teachers. This is more than sad, this is a tragedy. I am praying so hard for these families, and once again contemplating homeschooling my two sweet angels. 🙏

I cannot stress this enough. Removing unwanted skin lesions are ideal, but they also must be gone about the correct way. For some unwanted lesions (malignant cancerous moles) this can tricky, and only a qualified medical professional can legally remove the lesion.

I am still in awe at her results. This was actually the first time I was able to obtain results near the very first grade of my bleaching tray. Don’t get me wrong, her initial status wasn’t insanely bad. She started at a pretty good grade. But for a near perfect shade? 😍 wow. 👏🏽

Blackheads are a type of acne (acne vulgaris). They're open bumps on the skin that fill with excess oil and dead skin.

Picking and pinching the skin may cause more trauma than necessary. Which is why I press preventative care. So how can you prevent blackheads?

Here’s a few tips!:

- Wash with a gentle cleanser.
- Steam your face.
- If you must squeeze, never use your nails (an extractor tool is always ideal).
- Exfoliate regularly.
- Use a pore strip.
- Make sure to moisturize.
- Apply a topical retinoid.
- Vitamin C works great.

If it’s too late and you must extract, keep in mind, if one of those dark blackheads doesn’t pop, take a deep breath and let it be. My general rule is three strikes and you’re out. Meaning, if it doesn’t come out after three tries, don’t do it any longer or you’ll risk damaging your skin or potentially breaking a capillary. If this happens, it simply means it’s not the time to remove it. You can just come back to it another day. It’s better than causing damage.

There’s also, of course, the chance that what you think is a blackhead might not actually be a blackhead at all. Some deep cysts or milia can masquerade as blackheads, and both necessitate a visit with me since both require more than a simple extraction.

Frankincense is actually one of earth’s most overlooked natural elements from Boswellia tree sap.

It’s history has been proven in several clinical trials to be an effective safe element in many ways for the body. Some use it’s properties for gut relief and cleansing (Crohn’s disease patients)

Aside from its many health benefits, due to its anti-inflammatory substance, Frankincense is a powerful anti-oxidant which is why it has anti-aging properties.

Anti-oxidants help to combat free-radicals, which are highly reactive molecules with unpaired electrons. As the free radicals move around the body, looking for an electron to pair with, it can damage DNA, which accelerates the aging process.

Also, anti-oxidants help to slow down and halt the damage caused by free radicals. This helps with the rejuvenation of the skin.

I did however post additional photos of how the elasticity begins to loosen as we age. Very common in your late 30s early 40s is when you begin to notice the aging process.

When you pinch the skin, and it takes its time making its way back to smooth- is essentially when you’ can great benefit from upper eyelid lifts.

The skin on our upper eyelids is one of the thinnest areas on the body below 1mm thick (0.5mm). Thus why results are typically the most significant.

Did you know that the thickened of your skin never changes over time? What essentially changes is our muscles tire. Thus resulting in age-related stretching and weakening of the levator muscle tendon—one of the workhorses that lifts the eyelid. Considering that we blink some 15–20 times a minute.

The proper term for this condition is called Dermatochalasis. Dermatochalasis is redundancy and laxity of the eyelid skin and muscle.

Gravity, loss of elastic tissue in the skin, and weakening of the eyelid connective tissues contribute to dermatochalasis, which more frequently involves the upper lids, but is also common in the lower lids.

This condition can also be a result of clients with underlying conditions that may predispose to dermatochalasis. Sometimes it’s just generics!

There’s many factors associated with this condition, and come include contains that are actually related to fat cells vs skin cells (isolated steatoblepharon). Which is why sometimes fibroblast may not be the best answer for you.

In my clients case, her condition was loose elastin and benefited greatly. 🥂
