We are unfortunately having to raise are rates for our service call due to fuel prices rising quicker than Bidens pole numbers on Election Day. Our road call is going up for everyone. This was a tough decision but our fuel bill has tripled in the past year and it is only getting worse every day. We hope everyone understands and we pray that prices will go back down so we can lower our rates !!! #LetsGoBrandon

January 23, 2003 is a day that is hard to forget for our Agency. Thankfully Paramedic Hayes survived but his life changed forever. Please remember that those working on the side of the highway have families and friends. Slow down! Move Over!

In anticipation of winter weather arriving this weekend, stay alert and keep informed!

The Salisbury Fire Department is using a regional (County-wide) marking system for disabled/abandoned vehicles that have been checked and cleared by emergency responders.

In an attempt to reduce unnecessary duplicate calls for “checking disabled/ abandoned vehicles” yellow caution tape placed around a vehicle indicates that it has been checked and is clear of occupants.

When 911 caller reports a vehicle that needs to be checked, the 911 dispatcher may ask the caller to see if there is yellow tape around the vehicle to determine that it was already checked.

Buyer beware. Someone is butt welding used spindles on trailer housings in the upstate south Carolina area. The one on the left scrubbed 3 sets of tires in a 6 month period of time.

We have been busy all day and it’s not looking to slow down we have had 44 road calls today proud off the OPK crew for getting it done just remember make one call OPK can handle it all !!!

A lot of prayers are needed tonight for the North Carolina Highway Patrol and law enforcement across Western North Carolina. I can confirm there's been a crash tonight in Rutherford County. It does involve a suspect and trooper(s). Details will be coming out soon but for the time being a lot of prayers are needed right now. 🙏

Over the road truck driver Mr. John N. was found deceased in his truck near Needles, California. John was 59. He has been transferred to the medical examiner in San Bernardino.

John's family has asked truckersfinalmile to help get him home to near Merced, California to be laid to rest.
