We were treated with indifference and even passive hostility when we complained that several others had come and gone and that we'd given our names but gotten no groceries. The negative vibes, I admit, were probably due to the overworking and understaffing.
The service phone was unanswered and the message box was full.
Any normal glitch like this would have resulted in an apology but everybody was too tired and too busy to bother. One worker gleefully told my husband the manager would be too busy to hear his complaint.
We're usually pretty understanding, especially knowing that people were overworked and probably underpaid. But this was just a nasty little experience.
We'd used this service earlier with pleasant results. But something was really screwed up and they needed to send someone out there to supervise and get things straight. We will never use Walmart curbside again.
And not just for a day or two it’s been weeks. Yet the Denver store and the Mooresville neighborhood market is fully stocked?
This is just a small sample of what I’m taking about.
